From Musikverein Vienna to Lincoln Center New York, Nareh dazzles audiences in prominent halls like Wigmore Hall, Philharmonie Berlin, Laieszhalle Hamburg, Herkulessaal Munich, Konzerthaus Vienna, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Ambassador Auditorium Los Angeles, Konzerthaus Dortmund, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Gardner Museum Boston, Philadelphia Kimmel Center, Petronas Hall Kuala Lumpur, Osaka Concert Hall Japan and others.

Having more than 30 various concertos in her repertoire , Nareh has already performed with many of the world’s  prestigious orchestras including with Vienna Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Radio-Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra,  Tonhalle Orchestra Zürich, Radio-Symphony Orchestra Frankfurt, NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg,  Berlin Radio-Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Opera Orchestra , Norrkoping Symphony,  Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg and  Monte-Carlo, Orchestre Métropolitain du Grand Montréal ,RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Kyoto Symphony, Toho Orchestra Japan, Malaysian Philharmonic,  St.Gallen Sinfonieorchester, Bern Symphony Orchestra,  Boston Pops, Vancouver, Edmonton, Kitchener-Waterloo, Utah, Columbus and Indianapolis Symphonic Orchestras to name only few. 

Highlights in 2017/18 includes debuts with Montreal symphony, Santa Rosa symphony Orchestra, Orchestre symphonique de la Monnaie. She tours with Helsingborg symphony Orchestra in 10 cities in USA as well as European tour Malta Philharmonic Orchestra  appearing in Vienna’s Musikverein, Stuttgart and in Malta. Furthermore, she appears with several concerto performances in Schleswig-Holstein festival. Recitals take her to Germany, Austria, Malta, USA and Canada. She is also teaming up with the Munich Chamber Orchestra and Howard Griffiths to release another recording by Sony Classical playing the concerto by Franz Danzi.

Nareh frequently gives recitals in major cities throughout Asia, Europe and North America. She is a regular guest in renowned festivals such as the Lucerne Festival, Colmar Festival, Liszt en Provence Festival, Bregenzer, Mecklenburgischer and Schwetzinger Festspiele, Schleswig-Holstein Festival, Lanaudière Festival, Domaine Forget, Tanglewood, Marlboro, Singapore and Portland Festivals. Among other numerous awards, she has received the Franz Liszt, Georgy Cziffra, Viennese Classic, W.A.Mozart, Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli prizes as well as Rising Star, Herbert-von Karajan, Thyll-Dürr, German Piano and Orpheum awards.

Many of the world’s esteemed conductors have collaborated with Nareh including Kent nagano Sir Neville Marriner, Alain Altinoglu, Yasuo Shinozaki, Olari Elts, James Gaffigan, Michael Francis, Christian Arming, John Axelrod, Stefan Blunier, Otto Tausk, Otto Kamu, Joji Hattori, Fawzi Haimor, Joseph Quinta, Stefan Solyom, Kevin John Edusei, David Ken Masur, Howard Griffiths, Carl St Clair, Michael Sanderling, Nicholas McGegan, Kazuki Yamada, Xian Zhang, Jean-Marie Zeitouni & Christoph Poppen among others.

Nareh is also a dedicated performer of chamber music appearing at summer chamber music festivals throughout the world with various music partners such as pianists Arnaldo Cohen, Carlo Grante, violinists Midori, Hyeyoon Park, Fumiaki Miura, cellists Peter Wiley, David Soyer, violists Kim Kashkashian and others.

Following her successful debut solo album released in 2009 with Canadian Analekta Label, Nareh signed with Pentatone Records in 2011, releasing a CD of solo works by Rachmaninov to a great critical acclaim. Furthermore, she was selected as the Artist of the Season by Pentatone and partnered with Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and Alain Altinoglu to release 2 more CDs containing Liszt’s all piano-orchestral works as well as Prokofiev and Khachaturian Piano concerti to a great acclaim. Her CD’s were included in some of the most critical music magazines as the recording of the year, best new classical album, artist of the year, outstanding choice, best upcoming artist (LeDevoir Montreal, Culturecatch magazine, Codaex reference, Diapason d’Or, Musical America Magazine, International Record Guide magazine,  CD choice UK,  BBC Music Magazine and Gramophone)

Since 6 years old, Nareh was hailed as a “Prodigy” winning more than 18 international awards and prizes, including 1st Prizes at the 2007 Piano Campus International Competition in France, the 2009 Wörthersee Piano competition in Austria, the 2005 Josef Dichler Piano Competition in Vienna, the 2000 Gina Bachauer piano competition, the 1998 Piano competition in Ukraine, the 1997 Chopin piano competition. But her major breakthrough came at the age of 18, when she won the 1st  prize and all special Prizes at the Montreal International Musical Competition in 2008, thus, making a history as the youngest  winner ever.

Nareh often improvises and makes transcriptions of the famous orchestral and instrumental pieces by composers like Bach, Tchaikovsky, Piazolla, Komitas, Khachaturian, Rachmaninov, Strauss, Tarrega and others.

She also participates and performs for benevolent projects in France, Germany, Austria, Armenia and USA to support causes such as children suffering with leukemia in Armenia, assisting orphanages and disaster zone victims gathering more than 200 000 Euro for beneficial purposes.

Her performances are frequently broadcasted by Deutschland Radio Kultur, Radio Stephandsom, Nordwestradio, BR Klassik, HR 2 Kultur, O1 Radio, ORF and other media branches.

Since 2015, she became “Bösendorfer Artist”, joining such great names as Michael Jackson, Abba, Placido Domingo, Daniel Barenboim, Andras Schiff, Paul Badura-Skoda and others.

Born in Armenia in 1989, she studied with Alexander Gurgenov at the Tchaikovsky Music School in Yerevan and at the age of 15 became the youngest student to enroll in the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in the class of Heinz Medjimorec. Nareh continued her studies with Avedis Kouyoumdjian as well as with Arie Vardi in The Hanover University of Music and Drama. From 2016 Nareh has been selected as the artist-of-residence in Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel under the supervision of Louis Lortie and Avedis Kouyoumdjian.

Nareh speaks 4 languages fluently and currently resides in Vienna.
